EXPERIENCE
Sara was first introduced to RM Warner as a law student in the Innovation Advancement Program legal clinic at Arizona State University. There, she was mentored by Raees Mohamed, a founding partner of RM Warner, and learned the ins-and-outs of counseling local entrepreneurs, such as drafting a variety of corporate contracts and engaging with clients. Sara began interning for RM Warner her last semester of law school until she was hired on as a full-time associate in January 2021. Throughout her time at RM Warner, Sara has been instrumental in a wide variety of cases and projects, including drafting complaints, interrogatories, motions, and other pleadings, collaborating with the founding partners on complex cases, engaging with clients on a professional level, and utilizing her research background to assist with complex substantive and procedural issues. Although Sara is novice in her legal career, she has quickly learned and adapted to the fast pace and precise nature of the legal field.
LAW SCHOOL EXPERIENCE
Throughout law school, Sara participated in a variety of internships that paved the way for her to land at RM Warner. As an intern for the major crimes division in the Broward County Public Defender’s Office, Sara provided legal assistance on various cases, such as economic fraud, unlicensed practice of law, and murder. She drafted motions, engaged with clients, attended court proceedings, and even assisted with voir dire in a first-degree murder trial. Sara stayed in the public sector and completed an internship with the appellate division of the Maricopa County Legal Advocate’s Office before switching to private practice as a legal intern with RM Warner. During law school, Sara also worked part-time for the legal research company, LexisNexis, as a student representative assisting her law school colleagues with their legal research questions and needs.
MORE ABOUT SARA…
Outside of the office, Sara enjoys spending most of her time outdoors.
